Scope & Content |
The folio consists of four illuminated pages of songs, perhaps Psalms. Each page has six lines of a 5 bar musical staff. The notes are indicated by small blocks and the words of each line are written under the staff. Decorated and illuminated initial letters indicate the start of a new verse or song. The folio was constructed by folding the sheet in half, resulting in four sheets each measuring 15 x 19-3/4 inches. Description Modified: 7/28/2010 |
