Scope & Content |
The folio consists of four illuminated pages of songs, perhaps Psalms. Each page has six lines of a 5 bar musical staff. The notes are indicated by small blocks and the words of each line are written under the staff. Initial letters are either decorated or written in red to indicate the start of a new verse or song. The folio was constructed by folding the sheet in half, resulting in four sheets each measuring 15-1/4 x 20 inches. Description Modified: 7/28/2010 |
