Prepatory paintings for mural "Map Makers of the World" one showing Marco Polo at the court of Kublai Khan, Columbus landing on the Bahamas, Norseman Leif Erickson landing on Vineland, a archeology scene with palaeontologist and Lewis and Clark discovering the West Coast . The second prepatory painting has Magellan on a ship, Admiral Byrd in Antartica, a beach scene and Captain Cook meeting Native Hawaiians. Wood frame and matted measuring 12" x 33".
