Description |
The drawing depicts two young, dark-haired Hispanic girls wearing white blouses and green flouncy skirts. One girl stands with her back partially to the viewer, and holds a red balloon in her right hand. The other girl holds a toy airplane on a stick in her left hand. It is framed in a black wood frame. A small plastic plate on the frame is engraved with the title. Leo Politi donated many pieces to LAUSD schools and it is assumed this is a gift from the artist circa 1964.
