It has "NCAA" printed. 1903: San Pedro High School Established San Pedro High School did not have its own building when it was established SPHS originated on the 2nd floor of the Sixteenth Street School (now Fifteenth Street School) 1906: The high school was relocated to its own high school building at 1221 South Gaffey St 1909: Annexed into Los Angeles City Schools 1933: The Long Beach earthquake damaged the Gaffey Street high school 1933: A new new high school was built at the current SPHS site, 1001 w. 15th Street San Pedro High School mascot is the Pirate |
