Earth Memories presents an evolutionary timeline: formation of the planets, water world, age of reptiles, dinosaurs and the death of that era, formation of mammals, development of man from cave artists to Mayan priests and the present. ARTScorpsLA and Hollywood Beautification Team. The design was put together by a a group of 10 graffiti writers, a recent art school graduate, and Cockcroft in a week-long marathon. The technique was brush painting with aerosol for finishing and detail- especially in the section of planets and for eyes, highlights, and accents. Walls of Reclamation was a commission from the County of Los Angeles to create murals for 28 schools within the LAUSD system. ACLA developed curricula in conjunction with classroom teachers to design images that reflected the student's current studies. Participating schools included Belmont High, whose earth-science class helped design and create a 500ft long mural titled "Earth Memories" that depicts the evolution of the earth.
