Description |
The painting depicts a group of sailboats sailing in choppy waters. The boats are riding low in the water. Two boats are tossed about the sea, with the shore just visible beyond. Two sailors, wearing protective gear, sit in the stern of one of the boats, working the rudder. The title and artist signature are also written on the back of the canvas. The painting is framed in a carved wood frame measuring 43-1/2 x 33-3/4 inches.
