The painting depicts a dark-haired boy and girl reading a book together as they sit on a round rug. A small brass plaque on the frame gives the date. It measures 18-1/2"h x 25"w Signed in the upper right corner./1963 Leo Politi donated many pieces to LAUSD schools and it is assumed this is a gift from the artist circa 1963. Condition: Fair. The image has stains on the outside edges. The linen mat is stained along the bottom of the frame. The frame is chipped and shows heavy signs of wear. Inventory History: Sheryl Nakano,7/3/2002 |
