woman reclining on her right side with long hair and wearing a robe, looking downward, stylized clothing folds. The folds of her gown are designated by carved ridges in the marble. A partial paper label on the bottom of the sculpture states that the sculpture was a model for one of the sculptures in Pershing Square, WPA, Federal Art Project #8492-3, one of three.
