Description |
The painting depicts a group of trees, with a path leading from the trees to a snowy mountain in the background. Oil on canvas, 29-1/2"h x 39-1/2"w. 06/12/2008 Good. The painting is dirty and needs cleaning. However, the frame is in poor condition with several areas of loss at the corners and edges. According to Martha Feutz’s 1989 notes, painting was/to be restored. On the back of the painting is written the title, the artist's name, and "Presented to Franklin High School/by the Class of Winter, 1924". The painting is framed in a gilded frame measuring 47 x 37 inches. Description Modified: 7/28/2010 |
