Description |
Molded as the head of a bull, plain fabric. The rhyton is ceramic cone with a flared rim and a handle. A bull's horns and ears decorate the end of the rhyton. This piece was originially in the collection of Venice High School. According to an inventory conducted in 1988, the rhyton is "a bull's head; a simple base -- 2 horns on top, fired terracotta."
