Description |
The painting depicts a desert landscape at dusk. There is a low horizon line which serves to emphasize the large billowing clouds in the top section of the painting. It was painted in Palm Springs where Frost lived in the early 1920s. Framed in a carved and gilded frame measuring 41" x 36" x 2" inches. A brass plaque at the lower center edge of the frame reads: "Desert Twilight/by John Frost/Class Gift W 1928". Description Modified: 10/23/2018 |
