Description |
Circular dish on an extended shaft supported by tripod hoof feet with an ivy leaf suspended between each foot. The tripod has a small, round saucer affixed to a long pole that ends in a tripod foot. The tripod was originally in the collection of Venice High School. According to an inventory conducted in 1988, the piece is described as an "Etruscan Candelebrium…bottom has 3 hoofed feet…made of bronze. Leaves on base of legs."
