Description |
The mural celebrates the author, Ray Bradbury, who attended the school in the 1930s, with a face portrait of him in the center. He is surrounded by rolling green hills and blue sky to one side and smoking, burning books on the other side. Quotes from Bradbury, Bukowski and others were painted around the library. Apprenticeship program assisted by LAHS students, Ronald Mendez, Patrick Koh, Yin Ling (Sandy) and Julian Nava; took 2 months. Description Modified: 9/24/2019 |
