The mural depicts two male figures sitting cross legged and barefoot; one is reading from a book and the other holds a writing instrument and book. They are surrounded by pink and purple books channeling the concept of wisdom, inspired by various tribal cultures. There is Angelou poems text on both figures’ pants and one figure’s shirt. From the artist Instagram "The poems of Maya Angelou can be seen blended with body paintings in the figure’s body.
