Description |
Perfume and Unguent Holder, painted with ‘net’ design of diapered trellising with white dots at joining, rays on the neck. The lekythos has a elongated, ovoid body with a funnel rim, and a vetical loop handle, all on a small round foot. The lekythos is decorated with a net pattern covering the body. The piece was part of the collection of Venice High School. According to an inventory conducted in 1988, this piece was #115, but the description on the inventory list does not match the lethykos.
