The painting depicts a view of Wilmington's harbor as seen from across the bay at dusk. Possibly San Diego harbor with Mt. Soledad in the distance. It is framed in a bleached wood frame measuring 48 x 36 inches. A small brass plate affixed to the frame reads: "Federal Art Project". "Courtesy of the Fine Arts Collection U.S. General Services Administration."
