The engraving depicts a tripod consisting of two round basins separated by three legs shaped like lions' legs. An inscription above the tripod reads: "Altra veduta in prospettiva delle stefso Tripode". Another inscription below the tripod reads: "Al'Signor Guglielmo Macdonall Cavalieri Inglese/amatore delle belle arti/In attod'ofsequio il Cavaliere Gio Battista Piraneisi DDD".
