Description |
The pair of paintings depicts scenes of gondolas floating in the Venice canals. The first panel depicts gondoliers and their boats approaching a woman in a white dress and red shawl. The second panel depicts a boat laden with dyed cloth approaching a sailmaking shop. "By 1927, Brandriff decided to abandon dentistry and devoted his time to painting.
